Our Trip to DC

Holly and I got the opportunity to go to Washington, D.C. back in October. Holly was a bridesmaid in her friend Lisa's wedding. It was a great wedding. We got to meet some new friends and hang out with old ones. We go to have dinner with the chaplain of the US Senate. We got to DANCE...or watch other people dance...it was pretty fun.

We stayed after a few days to see the sights. It was my first trip and we loved it. I was taken back by the history of the place more than I expected. From Mt. Vernon to the Holocaust Museum to the Vault of Public Records its was all way cooler than I expected.

One thing- I forgot to charge the battery on our camera so we had to use my iPhone to take pictures...dou!!
